LOL - Hey Boss: I was being shot at while driving to work. Two days later: Hey Boss - I was just “misspeaking”. I meant something different.

I had intended to stop with political posts, but as dishonesty in service to ambition disgusts me I thought I’d note this NYT article on Clinton’s delightful assertion that she “misspoke” when claiming that she’d run through sniper fire at a Bosnian airport. Above is a photo from the article showing her sprinting through the hail of bullets. War is hell.

In fairness, I’ve misspoken about being shot at a number of times; for example, I called in to work yesterday, telling my boss that I was unable to make it to the office due to several gunshot wounds to the stomach, which (it turns out) I had simply misspoken about.

Trying so hard…not to ..burst out laughing at work.

Tim und Struppi - Die Trilogie kommt

Wohooo! Peter Jackson und Steven Spielberg. *FREU*

OMG. Ich hab’s ja damals sehr gern gelesen, von dem her ist das eine tolle Nachricht: Tim und Struppi wird verfilmt, als computergenerierter Film im Stil von Beowulf. D.h., man wird richtige Schauspieler agieren lassen, die dann aber per Computergrafik bearbeitet und in generierte Hintergründe eingefügt werden.

Klingt zunächst gräßlich, aber wenn man sich erfährt, wer hinter den geplanten drei Filmen steckt… *sabber*: Niemand anders als Steven Spielberg und Peter Jackson haben sich zusammen getan, Regie des ersten Teils soll der Meister von ET und dem Weißen Hai persönlich übernehmen.

Drehstart ist 2009
